The NucleoCounter® NC-100™ Mammalian Cell Counter is an image cytometer based on fluorescence from the fluorescent dye, propidium iodide (PI). The NC-100™ eliminates human subjectivity and can count even the most aggregated mammalian cells using the NucleoCassette™. The NucleoCassette™ itself is calibrated and severely limits user interference making the NC-100™ very suitable for GMP.

The NucleoCounter® NC-100™ can be connected to a PC using the USB port on the rear. It must be noted that all calculations, cell counting and data analysis is performed in the NC-100™ which is a true stand-alone instrument. The transfer of image data to a PC provides the user with additional documentation and options.
