این دستگاه آشکارسازی را با استفاده از Absorbance انجام می دهد. هم چنین این دستگاه قادر است که طول موج بین 200 تا 999 نانومتر را اندازه کند. دستگاه با اتصال به کامپیوتر و با کمک نرم افزار Gen5 کنترل می شود. هم چنین بنا به مدل آن می تواند کار انکوباسیون را نیز انجام دهد. در صورتی که Plate Take3 نیز خریداری شود این دستگاه می تواند کار نانودراپ را نیز انجام دهدو با استفاده از کووت و بیوسل و یا میکرو اسپات آزمایش مورد نظر را انجام داد.
